Before the 31st of December 2024, Mandatory retrofit for all Analogue & Digital Tachographs engaged in international journeys.
Before the 18th of August 2025, Mandatory retrofit for all G2V1 tachographs engaged in international journeys.
From the 1st of July 2026, In all goods vehicles above 2.5 tons, engaged in international journeys.

It would be wise to plan your G2V2 retrofit around your vehicles next calibration and fit a G2V2 tachograph as part of your vehicles next calibration date, providing that date is before the 31st of December 2024.
