Euro Tachograph Solutions was founded by Alan Nugent in 2013 and is based in County Waterford, Ireland. We specialise in tachograph analysis software, tachograph download tools, and fleet compliance solutions for transport operators and commercial vehicle workshops across Ireland. Using the industry-leading Optac3 tachograph analysis platform, we help fleets stay compliant with EU drivers’ hours regulations while improving operational efficiency. We supply a wide range of tachograph download devices, from manual tools to fully automated remote download systems, manufactured by leading European providers Tachosys and Lisle Design. We are also an authorised fleet agent for Stoneridge Electronics, providing trusted tachograph equipment, installation support, and expert advice.

After many successful years supplying tachographs, spare parts, compliance tools, and professional training, Euro Tachograph Solutions was officially appointed as a VDO Tachograph Reseller in 2025. We are proud to support Irish transport operators, fleet managers, and tachograph workshops with reliable products and industry-leading technical support. As active members of organisations including SIMI, IRHA, IRU Academy, and CORTE, we remain closely involved in developments at EU level regarding tachograph legislation and digital tachograph regulations, ensuring our customers receive the most up-to-date compliance guidance and solutions.
