VDO WorkshopTab iI
The all-in-one calibration and inspection device for all DTCO® variants. Fully equipped for Smart Tachograph Version 2 – including GNSS testing, DSRC testing, KITAS 4.0 and onwards registration, and mandatory map update installation.
Required For: All digital tachograph calibrations. Mandatory for DTCO® 4.0 and 4.1.
VDO DSRC Meter
Tests the Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) interface on Smart Tachograph vehicles. Simulates an enforcement check and returns test results directly to the WorkshopTab II. Positioned 4–8 metres in front of the vehicle.
Required For: All digital tachograph calibrations. Mandatory for DTCO® 4.0 and 4.1.
VDO Blue Meter
Wireless W-value measurement device for the 20-metre calibration run. Transmits measurements directly to the WorkshopTab II – no manual data entry required. Replaces traditional cable-based measurement methods.
Required For: All digital tachograph calibrations. Reduces manual steps in the W-value process.
KITAS Direct
Wireless tool for reading KITAS motion sensor serial numbers and performing impulse tests – without removing the sensor from the vehicle. Supports KITAS 2, 2+, and 4. Transmits results directly to the WorkshopTab II.
Suitable For: Sensor verification on KITAS 2, 2+, and 4 – all digital tachograph workshops.
KTCO Adapter
Extends the WorkshopTab II to support calibration and testing of analogue tachographs – including KTCO 1318, KTCO 1314, and equivalent third-party models such as the SE8400. Connects via the Workshop Link.
Required For: Workshops servicing vehicles fitted with analogue round-dial tachographs.
Stationary Set (RIM)
Connects the WorkshopTab II to your rolling road, enabling measurement without an outdoor calibration lane. Wireless connection via the Workshop Link. Suitable for workshops with an existing roller brake tester.
Suitable For: Workshops using a rolling road for tachograph calibration.
